Youth Committee

Wanganui District Council established its first Youth Committee in March 2006 and advertises for new members each year. The Youth Committee's members for 2011 are listed below. Click on their names to see a photo and read their profile.

The purpose of the committee is to:
Develop and monitor policy on youth issues
Provide opportunities for youth to contribute to the Council's decision-making
Advise the Council on matters of interest for youth in the Wanganui District
