Wanganui Christmas Parade
French Documentary Film Festival
From dance to politics, next week's French Documentary Film Festival presents a range of documentary films fresh from European film festivals.
The films will be screened at the Davis Lecture Theatre, Whanganui Regional Museum, starting at 7.00pm. There will be two films each evening and all are sub-titled.

The festival is supported by Imagenbib, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Embassy of France.
Steam vs Sinew - Saturday, November 19
Wanganui Masters rowers will be battling it out against the paddlesteamer Waimarie in the Steam v Sinew race on the Whanganui River this Saturday.
The race begins at 10am adjacent to the Aramoho Top 10 Holiday Park and ends near Bates Street, giving plenty of opportunities for spectators to check out the competition.
