Contract No. 1179: Whangaehu Valley Bridges - Storm Damage Repairs

Tenders are invited from suitably qualified contractors for minor steelwork repairs to five bridges in the Whangaehu Valley within the Wanganui District.

The work is to be undertaken in January to March 2006.

Tender documents will be available from Monday, 28 November 2005, from the Customer Services Counter, Wanganui District Council, 101 Guyton Street, Wanganui, between 8.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday; phone (06) 349 0001, fax (06) 349 0000.

Contract No.1218: Wanganui Cooks Gardens/Victoria Park Sports Ground Maintenance
Contract No.1219: Wanganui Sports Grounds Maintenance

Tenders are invited for either of the above grounds maintenance contracts. The contracts are for an initial period of three years, with two possible one-year extensions subject to satisfactory performance.

The work in contracts No.1218 and No.1219 includes all or some of the following: mowing, shrub and annual bed maintenance, weed spraying, pruning and general grounds maintenance.
