Wastewater - Revised Scheme Resource Consent We would like to thank our community, especially those people and organisations that participated during the wastewater consultation process and/or during the resource consents hearing. Winter Gardens by Light There will be a special opening of the Winter Gardens on Sunday, December 16 from 8.30pm - 10pm. Come in after Carols by Candlelight and see the displays in a new light.
Road works - Bason Botanic Gardens Work on the road at Bason Botanic Gardens is taking longer than expected due to the weather and unforeseen events. Kerbing and sealing work is being done from the entrance to the Gardens to the top of the hill. The road is still open most of the time but there may be some minor inconvenience for traffic. However, if there is heavy rain, the road may be closed to traffic. The Gardens remain open as usual. We apologise for any inconvenience. Building Consents For those people intending doing building projects during the Christmas break, please ensure that you apply for your Building Consent promptly to allow us time to process them before Christmas. The Building and Plumbing Inspectors will be available through the Christmas holidays (except Statutory Holidays and weekends) for inspections and advice.
Wanganui Water Services is moving On Friday, 14 December 2001, the Wanganui Water Services office at 178 Ridgway Street will close.
