Request for proposals - recycling service

Proposals are invited to market, organise and provide a recycling service to Wanganui residents, which is sustainable, economical and demonstrable to the community. The current service contract is primarily for a weekly kerbside collection of recyclable refuse products.

Documents are available from the Wanganui District Council Help Desk, 101 Guyton Street, PO Box 637, Wanganui, between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Proposals, which close at 4.00pm on Tuesday, 24 July 2001, must be placed in the Tenders Box at the Help Desk, or posted to:

Proposals shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked on the outside with "Proposal for Recycling Service" and endorsed with the proposer's name and address.

The Council reserves the right not to accept any one or more, or all of the Proposals, or the Alternative Proposals.
