Kowhai Park benefits from Presbyterian Support Central donation - 8/09/2009A new picnic table, donated by Presbyterian Support Central, is being installed at Kowhai Park.
Presbyterian Support Central is celebrating 100 years of helping New Zealanders in need and, to mark the occasion, has donated the picnic table for the local community to use.
Senior Cr Randhir Dahya accepted the table on behalf of the Wanganui community.
The picnic table will be sited inside the fence around the Tot Town railway, near the castle.
“Kowhai Park is a great place for the whole family to visit – with something for people of all ages. We are really grateful that Presbyterian Support Central has donated a new picnic table, which I am sure will get plenty of use with the warmer spring weather on the way.” |
