Mayor’s response to ‘Dominion-Post’ speculative story - 28/07/2010In response to various media enquiries relating to the ‘Dominion-Post’ front page story headlined ‘Laws & Peters said to be lining up for NZ First relaunch’, Mayor Michael Laws says that he has a policy of never commenting upon baseless media rumours and won’t be changing that policy.
He also refers the media to his press release earlier this year (available on both the council and mayoral websites) announcing his decision to retire from the Wanganui mayoralty. He has nothing further to add to this statement. |
