Quay Gallery closed for cabinet repairs - 7/02/2011

The Quay Gallery, located on the first floor of the Visitor Information Centre on Taupo Quay, will be closed until February 15.

“The closure is to allow joinery work to be undertaken, to strengthen the built-in cases at either end of the gallery,” says Cr Nicki Higgie.

“We want to ensure that very substantial works of art can be displayed in the future.”

The Wanganui Experience Room, also on the first floor of the Visitor Information Centre, is still open.
