Fordell water supply users asked to reduce use and boil water - 9/05/2012Wanganui District Council’s Infrastructure and Property Committee Chair Cr Ray Stevens today asked Fordell water supply users to reduce water use and boil drinking water until further notice.
“A new pumpset is being installed in the Fordell bore so tankers are currently being used to fill the reservoir,” Cr Stevens said.
“As a precaution, we ask residents who are connected to the Fordell water supply to reduce their water use and boil any drinking water until the system is back to normal.” |
