Fordell water supply – ‘boil water’ notice lifted - 16/05/2012

Wanganui District Council’s Infrastructure and Property Committee Chair Cr Ray Stevens today said the Fordell water supply is now working correctly and users no longer need to boil drinking water.

“Fordell residents have been very supportive whilst Council has been dealing with the supply issues and I am pleased to say that the testing has been completed and the ‘boil water’ notice is now lifted, a day earlier than we planned.”
