New feedmill plant good news for Wanganui - 31/05/2012

Mayor Annette Main today welcomed the confirmation that SealesWinslow will establish a feedmill and grain storage plant in Aramoho.

“This is great news for us,” Mayor Main said.

“This multi-million development by a company with a strong economic and environmental background will have significant benefits for our regional economy.

“I have been an advocate for identifying the opportunities we have in our district, to use and develop existing assets, sites and resources. So I am very pleased that the assets of the former Ingham site will be developed and that work is under way to get the plant ready for the 2013/14 season. I visited the site today and was impressed by the work that has already been done to tidy it up, and to hear that work on the development will begin very soon.”
