New policy on Official Information - 7/04/2005The Wanganui District Council has decided that all information released under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 will be released to media organisations at the same time.
All requests under the Act will be included unless they concern the natural privacy of individuals or the requesting party.
The new policy is in keeping with the declared intention of the Mayor to have a more open and democratic process. |
