Baby daughter for Mayor and Mayoress - 21/08/2006Mayoress Leonie Brookhammer gave birth to a little girl on Friday night at Palmerston North Hospital. Mayor Michael Laws was present for the birth delivered by obstetrician Kathy Gillies.
The child is to be named Zoe Christian Brookhammer Laws and weighed 6lbs 8oz upon arrival.
Zoe is the second child of the Mayor and Mayoress – their first, Lucy, was born in December 2004. Both have children from previous relationships.
The Mayoress and baby daughter are both in good health. |
