Council statement on Peter Knuth - 31/08/2006An internal investigation has commenced following the appearance of Wanganui District Council staff member Peter Knuth in Wanganui District Court today.
Mr Knuth is employed as a permanent part-time animal control officer. He appeared in court on charges relating to sawmilling of native logs.
Council was unaware of the charges against Mr Knuth until after his court appearance. Chief executive Dr David Warburton will complete his investigation and report his findings to the full Council. |
