Motor Camp Operator Wanted
Mowhanau Motor Camp, Mowhanau Beach, Wanganui

The Wanganui District Council invites applications for the lease of the Mowhanau Motor Camp located at Mowhanau Drive, Mowhanau Beach, Wanganui. The camp is located 16km north west of Wanganui and is situated on approximately 1.12 hectares of reserve land. The camp comprises 58 powered sites, 32 tent sites, amenities block and small manager's house.

This venture would suit motivated people interested in seasonal work with a lifestyle and those prepared to take a long-term view of growing the business.

Lease Applications are to contain details of the interested party as set out in the "Application Form".

Temporary traffic restriction - Somme Parade
Wanganui Wastewater Separation Project

The Council advises that Somme Parade, between the Churton School entrance and Delhi Avenue, will be restricted in traffic lane width from 8.00am on Wednesday, August 22, for a period of eight weeks for the purpose of wastewater separation works.

Motorists can expect delays and should note that the traffic control layout will vary frequently during the duration of the works. Please obey all traffic control signage.

The Council regrets any inconvenience caused.
