Temporary road closure: Whangaehu Valley Road - 21/09/2004Road stabilisation works to the Whangaehu Valley Road between 1-2km are programmed to begin on September 22.
The road closure is expected to be from Wednesday, 22 September 2004, until Friday, 8 October 2004.
During these specific phases of the works, the Whangaehu Valley Road is likely to be closed between 7.00am and 5.30pm. It is acknowledged that these closures will create significant inconvenience to local residents and, in order to minimise this, the road will be opened for traffic between 9.00am to 9.30am and 3.00pm to 3.30pm every day.
Provision will be made for emergency vehicles.
