Burst water main in London Street - 5/09/2012

A water main has burst in London Street, resulting in no water supply to affected businesses and houses. There is also a small amount of surface flooding.

Work is currently under way to repair the water main and all of the affected businesses in the area have been contacted,” says Cr Ray Stevens, Chairman of the Infrastructure and Property Committee.

“We anticipate the water supply will be restored within the next two to three hours.”
